This is a question rather than a comment. I was wondering if/how our weather would be affected because the axis of the earth was tilted 6.5 inches by the Japanese earthquake. It has been drilled into us that little things can make a big difference, such as the climate warming by one degree. So, did the earth tilt more? Or did it straighten a bit? Will we now have warmer summers and colder winters, or will our weather even out a bit? Thanks! You are such a good source of weather information!
